New Content!! …well kinda.

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

youtube_logo.jpg Hello everyone. As you may know, we have a Lilipip corner of Youtube where we gather together our favorite clips. Since we’re in the business of finding the best content for kids, we thought that we’d link our site to Youtube so kids would have a wider range of things to watch (beyond what’s available for sale on our site). Instead, we’ve decided to go ahead and take our favorite clips from Youtube and make them available to watch on our site. We are not selling these because they don’t belong to us. We are merely making the things on Youtube available that we love, and wish to share. This is an experiment, and we will continue to acquire clips through licensing, and revenue sharing. No revenue is generated from viewing these clips from Youtube. Please enjoy, and let us know what you think.

Sony Ad - simply beautiful

There are many advertisements these days - some are simply beautiful. This one made me feel like 5 again - would be great to jump around in that sea of foam!

i-shot-screengrab10.jpgTake a look at our latest Pipclip. It’s a fun and beautifully produced music video for “yer youngin” (that’s southern speak by the way). A kitty drinking tea in a spaceship shaped like a vegetable. A turnip waiter, serving noodles and deserts. The music is by PSAPP and the visuals are by our friend Squid in London. We are proud to make this available…and did I mention that it is free? Just click and enjoy!

IMG_5179.jpgMy family and I just returned from a 10 day jaunt to the south (Alabama + New Orleans). My son was sold on the sheer volume of wild life that roams about for his pleasure. Ants, baby turtles, fish, dogs, cats, frogs, lizards, flying carpenter beetles (that look just like large bumble bees), giant moths, snakes. He was so taken by the endless array of creatures that once off the plane (back in Seattle), all we heard that night until his bed time was how much he wanted to go back, and how Seattle is lame compared to Alabama. If only he knew…We cherish his innocence.

BEWARE: Speaking of innocence; The French Quarter of New Orleans isn’t kid friendly - we learned the hard way!
